1992年的Broken專輯一直是我重播率相當高的一張，
幾乎只僅次於我心目中排行第一的Fragile。

如果不算開場序曲Pinion之外，Wish應該可以算是這張專輯第一首完整有人聲的歌，
結果Trent開口第一句就將我吸進深不見底的黑洞：

"This is the first day of my last days."

緊接著是一陣扭曲急促的電吉他riff排山倒海而來，
壓迫我的呼吸我的每根神經，跟著節拍不停暈眩不停旋轉，
每一句歌詞似乎都像拳頭般打穿自以為堅強的外表。

最後卻在與自己的脆弱混亂中嘎然而止，
你只覺得整個腦袋像是被翻開來洗過一般地爽快。

"I'm the one without a soul, I'm the one with this big fucking hole.
no new tale to tell twenty-six years on my way to hell. "

"wish there was something real wish there was something true.
wish there was something real in this world full of you."


這時的Trent還在工業憤怒沮喪美男子時期，
（可以直接稱他為Pretty hate machine嗎？XD）
MV拍得非常有意思，有點cult中帶著對現實譏刺的味道。
